Partnerships
Foundations
Philanthropic foundations are vital partners in Garfield County School Of Innovation's mission. Foundation support funds the programs, facilities, and inclusive learning environments that no public charter school can build alone.
Why Foundation Support Matters
Public charter schools like Garfield County School Of Innovation operate on per-pupil funding that covers core instruction — but the innovative, inclusive, and career-connected programs that define our model require additional investment. Foundation partnerships allow us to go further: building CTE research labs, expanding inclusive education supports, developing digital badge systems, and creating the kind of learning environment that transforms student outcomes.
We seek foundation partners who share our belief that every student — regardless of learning profile, background, or zip code — deserves access to a rigorous, joyful, and career-connected education. Your investment doesn't just fund a school; it builds a model that can inspire education reform across Colorado and beyond.
Funding Priorities
Foundation gifts can be directed toward any of the following areas — or applied as general operating support where the need is greatest.
Inclusive Education
Fund specialized supports, adaptive technologies, and staff training that ensure students with diverse learning needs thrive alongside their peers in every classroom.
CTE Research Labs
Equip our Career and Technical Education labs with industry-grade tools, materials, and technology so students gain real-world skills before graduation.
Digital Badge System
Support the development and administration of our competency-based digital badge program for our neurodiverse and students on the Autism Spectrum, which gives students portable, verifiable credentials recognized by employers and colleges.
Building & Facilities
Help fund the construction and outfitting of a purpose-built campus designed for collaborative, project-based, and hands-on learning at every grade level.
Concurrent Enrollment
Subsidize the cost of college-level coursework for students who could not otherwise afford dual credit tuition, ensuring equitable access to higher education pathways.
Community Outreach
Fund family engagement programs, enrollment outreach, and community events that connect Garfield County School Of Innovation with the families and neighborhoods we serve across Garfield County.
